Make a complaint
At Northam Surgery, we value patient feedback to help us review and improve the services we offer. There are different ways you can send us feedback.
Find more information about giving feedback or making a complaint below.
How to give patient feedback
Northam Surgery aims to give a friendly and professional service to all our patients.
We welcome feedback on any aspect of the practice and we can receive this feedback verbally or in writing. There is also a comments book at the front desk which is reviewed weekly. If you have any concerns about any aspect of our service, please let us know. In the majority of cases concerns can be resolved quite easily. However, if you feel we have not dealt with the issues you have raised or you wish to make a formal complaint, you can write to our Complaints Officer, Emma Hill, here at the surgery.
Or you may complain directly to NHS England
Tel: 0300 311 22 33 (Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm)

Further written information is available regarding the complaints procedure from reception.
How to make a complaint about an NHS service
If you’re unhappy with an NHS service, then it’s worthwhile talking about your concerns with us early on, as we may be able to sort it quickly.
If you would prefer to speak to someone else outside of our surgery, then you can contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS). This is a free, confidential and independent service that you can use to talk to someone who understands the complaints process and can offer some guidance and support.
