Book an appointment online to see your GP by using our online system. Click the link below to book an appointment.

To book an appointment over the phone

Call 01237 474994 after 8am or by calling in to reception after 8am. Routine appointments can be booked up to six weeks in advance.

The reception team will ask for details so that they can triage you to the most appropriate clinician.

Please make separate appointments for each person. 

You are free to consult any doctor but we recommend that patients with chronic illness and on going problems see the same doctor where possible.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

We can send you a text message to remind you of your appointment.  We can also let you know if you have missed an appointment.  If you would like to consent to receive reminders by text message please see a member of the reception team or call 01237 474994.  

In order to help clinics run on time and maintain patient satisfaction please keep to one problem per appointment.

Types of appointments

At Northam Surgery, we offer different appointments to help you get the care you need as soon as possible.

Routine appointments

Routine appointments can be booked up to six weeks in advance.

Minor Illness clinic

We have a nurse led Minor Illness clinic. Our experienced Nurse Practitioners are able to help with conditions such as coughs, colds, infections and sprains.

Other appointments

We have a duty doctor system for problems that we deem should be dealt with more urgently.

You can also call NHS 111 for general medical advice.

Enhanced access
