Sharing your medical history to local healthcare professionals

When we refer you to another health professional, such as a hospital Consultant
or Physiotherapist we need to give them your medical history so that they are aware of your health and any medication you are taking.

The practice is also part of a local shared record scheme, this means that if you require urgent care the health professionals who will care for you can view your GP health records.

National Data Sharing

Practices can no longer opt patients out of national data sharing. For information on your choices under the National Data Opt Out, please see link below: https://www.nhs.uk/your-nhs-data-matters/manage-your-choice/

Privacy Notice 2023

Reception and administration staff require access to your medical records in order to do their jobs. These members of staff are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the Clinical staff.
